Seamless CPVC/FRP Dual Laminate

Our CPVC/FRP dual laminate uses only virgin chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) and is chemically inert to a broad range of commercial chemicals.

Bonding of the CPVC liner to the fiberglass reinforced plastic structure results in a chemical linking of the structure to the liner, eliminating air gaps and the possibility of condensation, a common problem in lined steel pipe. Since these gases/liquids are not trapped between our CPVC liner and vinyl ester structure, weep holes and internal corrosion can be avoided. Choosing RPS dual laminate means longer life and lower lifecycle costs.

QUICK FACTS

  • For mineral acids, alkalis, salt solutions, alcohols, and more
  • INEOS DERAKANE™ 411 bisphenol A epoxy vinyl ester resin
  • Pressure Ranges: suitable for continuous operation from full vacuum to 150 PSI for 1½” through 12” diameter, and full vacuum to 100 PSI for 14” through 24” diameter.
  • Temperature Range: 0°F (-18°C) to 190°F (88°C). CPVC/FRP piping systems with a continuous operating temperature above 180°F (82°C) should be evaluated by RPS Engineering to determine if the process conditions are acceptable.
